Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine.

In British Columbia, Naturopathic Physicians are licensed by The College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia.  The Naturopathic philosophy is to stimulate the healing power of the body as well as to treat the underlying cause of all illness and disease. Symptoms of disease are seen as warning signals of improper functioning of the body, and unfavourable lifestyle habits. Naturopathic Medicine emphasizes disease as a process rather than as an entity.

Treating both acute and chronic conditions, Naturopathic treatments are chosen based on the individual patient – their physiological, structural, psychological, social, spiritual, environment, and lifestyle factors. Below are some of the areas Naturopathic Physicians are trained in to restore health and wellness: Including Clinical Nutrition, Lifestyle Counselling, Botanical Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homeopathic Medicine, Psychological Counselling, Physical Medicines, Naturopathic Manipulation, Pharmaceuticals.

In addition to these foundational therapies, Dr. Della also provides Intravenous Therapies, Laser Therapy, Breast Thermal Imaging, Functional Laboratory Testing, Injections Therapies (Neural Therapy, Neuro-Prolo Therapy, and Prolo Therapy). Dr. Della is an expert on understanding how all aspects of health influence the body and mind. Her experience with sports medicine, woman's health, pain management, nutrition, and the mind-body connection forms a solid holistic platform from which she can provide patients with the ability to become healthy and well-balanced.

In 2023 she graduated with magna cum laude from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, with a Diploma of Acupuncture. Throughout her diplomacy she completed 2200 hours of studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as integrating Western anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, and bio-medicine. During her clinical experience at Pacific Rim College, Jenna found immense value in developing a sincere ability to listen to her patients, bear witness to their stories, and to sit with those who shared a common goal of healing. As an Acupuncturist who is diverse in treating simple and complex conditions, Jenna believes that Acupuncture is a conduit for reminding the body how to heal itself. By listening and inquiring about your experience, you lead Jenna towards an individualized Chinese medical diagnosis and treatment plan. By integrating the teachings of Chinese medicine, she will curate an Acupuncture prescription to remind the mind, body, and spirit of their healing capability.

Jenna was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Through her curiosity to want and know more from life than what she was raised within that she found herself moving to the West Coast of Canada. In Jenna’s reach to find what satiated her soul, she found Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (or maybe it found her). It was during her first treatment that Jenna felt a responsibility to show up for the medicine and devote herself to it.

Professionally Jenna has enjoyed providing emotional support and spiritual integration, caring for one’s nervous system, as well as treating digestive disturbances, gynecological and reproductive concerns, Raynaud’s and other autoimmune diseases, and more.

One of Jenna’s favourite quotes is by Lorie Eve Dechar, an Acupuncturist and Author, “I discovered something that transformed the way I experience being in my body.”

From Jenna to you: I look forward to meeting you where you’re at in your healing journey.
